Re: Stag Upholstery Specialists

Peter

If you are pinning your criticism on an old picture in Practical Classics
magazine of about 10 years ago, then let's all have a look at the picture.
Otherwise I think you should withdraw that remark. For your information,
Richard Treacher whose car was featured, I beleive actually fitted the seat
covers himself. If you remember, the objective was to do a complete
restoration in double-quick time.

South East Trimming also supply (and fit) most interior panels, leather
seat covers etc and what I have seen of their work is very impressive
indeed, certainly well up to concours standard if that is what you are
looking for.

As I had refrained from stating before, you will also find that Aldridge
can be criticised for their hood which is nothing like original, and also
gratuitously expensive. Cars need to be 'left' with them for days, when
the job can clearly be done in a few hours. So I just don't see what
unique proposition Aldridge have to offer.

You might also be interested to know that South East Trimming supply SOC
Spares Ltd (a private limited company with considerable involvement in
supplying Stag parts).
