Re: Stag Upholstery Specialists

Hi Mike
No I don't remember any of that, I am referring to a book, not a magazine,
although the text is based on a series of magazine articles from 1989.
The book is available today I am sure, and I suppose mnay Stag owners have a
copy.
I can't withdraw the remark, Mike it is a fact, not an opinion. Looking at
that book again very carefully, like a forensic scientist, it seems just
possible the photograph of the finished seat is actually the seat before it
was retrimmed, because I notice that hump on the seat top in one of the
unrestored pictures.
South East may be better than that photo leads one to believe.
So would they retrim my drivers seat, replacing the piece of material that
goes under the right thigh with a new piece that I supply, and redoing the
sponge behind my right upper arm. How much would they charge for such a job?
There is a car trimmer local to me who makes Rover Car seats. He did the
staples on my door trims, and I thought of asking him.
Peter
