Pelham,

I had the same "feeble washer syndrome" on my last Stag.
My mechanic picked up a new washer motor at my local car parts
shop. However it wasn't the type which goes on the washer bottle.
A previous owner had put in a motor which was bolted to the inner
wing. An alternative which worked much better.
