...you want to pull /everything/ first.  You don't want to try to remove
the remains of your melted float from your jets...


The kit I used on my 2110 had new idle needles, but I ended up going back
to the old ones...the taper on the new needles didn't fit correctly.

Disassemble the carb, step by step, to learn the process...compare new
parts to old to make sure you know you have everything you need, check the
carb vat to make sure you're allowed to put brass and aluminum in
it...(I've seen some that are corrosive to brass, and you DONT want your
jets soaking in that! )

Then soak what you can, aggitate, soak, check....remove it when it's
clean.
