Allan,
I've been trying to figure out exactly what the parts are that I need
so I can bolt up a manual tranny with an SAE #2 pattern.
By the manuals I have, I see there is an
"Adapter ring, Trans to Engine", P/N 414528C1 used with the Allison.
However, the appearance of that ring in the parts manual resembles
a very large washer with holes around the outside, and holes around the
inside. In fact, it appears to me that it simply adapts between two
different SAE patterns, perhaps #2 and #3.
If the figure is accurate (and IHC parts books usually are), then
this plate alone won't do what I want. Is there such a part?
I think I need a SV flywheel housing that ends in an SAE pattern
to house my clutch. Am I wrong?
Does the adapter ring you mention bolt directly to the back of
an SV block, then then the front of the Allison?

Any part numbers would be most appreciated. My parts lookups
are from MT-127.
