Now now..the pertronix CAN still fail.  Keep a set of points/condensor (or
whatever the Prestolite uses) stashed away...when the pertronix goes, it
tends to leave ya stuck. (or misfiring)

Had one fail myself a few years ago (it probably had 2-3 years on it), and
had one fail just the other day in a friends bus, unknown age.
