Re: [ihc] Oh, yeah-another brake question!

THANKS! I appreciate the info. However, someone had told me that because
the diesel vacuum was so different than a conventional gas-burner, that
there were NOT power brakes standard to the diesel, but if someone chose to
request them, there was an additional vacuum boosting apparatus added on.
Is this completely wrong?
As I say, when I was asking a similar question some time ago, this is what
someone either here or on the BB told me, and at that time, no one refuted
it, so I was thinking this was the case. If this is wrong, it, obviously,
changes my mode of attack drastically!
