If its from an 80, it will be a 10 spline output & 29 tooth gear.

Some jeep models have 26 &/or 27 tooth gears I believe.

A willy's Tranny, T-Case & OD sold for $450 last week on Ebay.
I don't think the seller new what he had.  He didn't mention the OD.

They run $1100 new, usually around $500-700 used.

Be careful purchasing used.  Replacement parts are available, but one of
there is a certain gear inside the OD unit that is the most common one to
wear out/go bad (forget which one).  It costs about $250-$300 to replace.

The OD should give you about 10-15mph more on the freeway.
