Re: [ihc] gaskets and gasket goop



When we rebuilt the 345 in our Scout, my dad used no
gaskets at all on the oil pan & valve covers, just
Permatex high-temp red. The big trick to sealing an
oil pan or valve cover is to get the surfaces clean,
and straight!!
