---You just have to use your best judgment when it comes to "Reply All",
which is what Allan most likely hit when he replied. I see it as a way of
telling the person you are replying to, "this is meant for you to read, and
then there* is a digest copy for others". A lot of times I forget, most of
the time I don't, to add a name to the CC line (if I mention their name or
ask their opinion) and delete names that were from previous replies.

---As for your question earlier, as said, this group is most definitely the
elite group of IH owners (mainly Scout bairn). It is hidden enough to keep
most crazies out and people are generally more polite, because they are more
civil. Here we are mainly known by name, if not face (one day I will meet
most of you at a gathering), we know that Mr. H. has to be one of the
greatest story tellers, John F. is a welding wizard and Tom M. is a
component tester/product analyzer. Hmmm, lets see what else, Bill M. (lost
his Mail address) was the pioneer of dissecting and rebuilding a Holley
External Control Module (AKA Gold Box)... as for what BB is better, the new
BB has the newest members and the old BB contained most of the machinists
and techies. Now they are pretty much balanced out, but the new BB has a few
more "off-camber" posts.

---Most will eventually migrate to the new BB (if and when they have* to)
and the old BB may or may not be shut down. It took me about a year and a
half to finally jump over to the new BB, but I still check in the old one
once in a while.

---The main difference is that the BB is searchable, here you can browse the
archives. If you ask a question here and it doesn't get answered, you
weren't typing loud enough or no one knows. Do a search on the old BB, and
then the new BB. You will surely find the answer or have an idea within a
short period of time.
