RE: [ihc] 80 Scout, Koenig PTO Winch Question

the two T98 4-speeds from my trucks have 6-bolt PTO openings on the
passenger side. the T18 4-speed in our Scout 800A has a 6-bolt opening on
the driver's side. unfortunately i didn't look at the T90 3-speed in our
800 before we sold it.

the Dana 20 in our 800A has a 6-bolt opening on the passenger side, on the
bottom surface. but now we come to something i actually know about. the
NP205 transfer case.

our 1110 TravelAll has an NP205 transfer case, it has a 6-bolt opening on
the driver's side, up high and to the side rather than on the bottom like
the D20 in our Scout. i just went out there and looked at the ID plate
riveted to it. the PTO gearbox installed is a Dana unit, Model number
381XSBLXW3XD. that looks more like a serial number or something to me, but
that's what was stamped in the long box marked "model". it has "Dana
Corporation, Chelsea, MI" in big letters at the top centre of the ID plate,
and to the left, also in big letters, this PTO seems to be named "Chelsea".

hope this helps.
