The 33x12.50 vs 33x15.50 tires probably have a slightly different height.
This is why you may have problems when in 4x4 on a high-traction surface..
which you shouldn't do anyhow. :D

That tire shop can't accurately balance Swampers. It CAN be done. Often
it involves "equal" inside the tire, or something other than some stick-on
weights that the tradiational tire shop would use.

I had my 36x12.50 TSLs balanced. I guess they were balanced and were
fine, I don't know.. they used stick-on wheel weights on the inside of the
aluminum wheels that hit my brake caliper on the first revolution.. so the
front tires are half balanced, while the rears are balanced.

It goes 75mph down the highway just fine.

Hardly inferior, just not built to exacting tolerances.. but then, they're
also not bit as thin as most tires, too. :D

> be a fairly soft compound. They seem to 'wear while I watch'- welllll,

Yes, they do! Very soft, grippy compound.

> And IF the SX's are radials, and the non-SX's are NOT, is THAT a problem?

The SXs are poly or fiberglass belted tires. "TSLs" are traditional bias
ply tires, while TSL-Radials are, of course, radial.

How about some cheaper tires than that? I run no-name 235/85-16 tires on
my IH pickup.. $80 each, and wear great.

You can buy 31x10.50-15s for under $100 each at Sam's Club even.. maybe
not the Wrangler MT/Rs, but do you "need" MT/Rs? :D
