not exactly, Ryan. i said i don't know how *much* difference, not that i
don't know if it makes a difference at all. i've driven Scout 800s with and
without the stabilizer, and it was enough of a noticeable difference that i
won't take the one on the 800A off. i've also driven TravelAlls with and
without the stabilizer, and again, it was enough that i won't take the one
on the 1110 off.

it helps that both the 1110 and the 800A came to us with the stabilizers
already in place, so i didn't have to do anything. neither truck has
handling problems, both have tight un-worn knuckle bushings (or bearings, in
the case of the TravelAll now), and no steering wobble or jitter or anything
else of that nature.

the stabilizer isn't "neccessary"... it's just useful. i don't advocate
installing one just to fix whatever else might be wrong, but installing one
at all, especially in a vehicle with larger than normal tires, is a good
thing. additionally, should a problem arise, it might just minimize the
trouble enough to make getting home, or to a repair shop, or even around on
normal errands till you can afford to get it repaired, possible.
