---Owner neglect is always a major role... if that is the case.  This also
includes using substantial motor oil like Have-been-lean (refurbished) and
Quaker Skate (No, I am not forgetting Penzoil, but some people still believe
in that test that proves all other oils are junk) that has not been
formulated for high temperature, or small gas engines.

---It is a habit of mine to prime the system of air on all vehicles, even my
304 has a tendency to get an air bubble in the system. Once priming is done,
I have not seen any problems with the 4.0 Jeep other than the exhaust leak
caused by cracked manifold... unless...  you consider the possibility that
the radiator needs to be repaired/replaced or the system needs to be
flushed. I have had to scrape the sludge and carbon from the heads many
times also, before re-assembly and flush.
