To bolt it on, I've been told you need one with a side hung float bowl.  The
front hung bowl would interfere with the waterneck.

I've also believe that there are 3 types of choke.   Manual, electric
automatic, and bimetal automatic.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did they charge you?

I'm also contemplating a 2300 swap... my current carb is having some issues
and I've also been told it'd be better to just swap to a 2300 instead of
getting the current one rebuilt.  But I have an auto so there are some more
linkage issues (any suggestions on that from anyone?).  I'm following along
with your conversion with great interest....
