727 tranny help

Good day fellow binders,

It has been a while since I posted to the group, But I was wondering if any
of you have had the pleasure of dealing with a tranny (727) getting stuck in
4 low. I have played with the linkage, made sure everything is aligned
right, and still it wont budge.  The tranny shifts out great through all the
gears. Like new even, but it wont come out of 4 low. I inherited the truck
(75 scout II) from a colleague and it has been sitting up for 2 years. We
got the engine fired up (345), now we are battling with the tranny. ANY help
or advice would be greatly appreciated.
