I've worked with LINUX on an intel based computer.  You'd be amazed how
fast they actually are.  Intel builds a fine computer.  It's just buried
under the MS operating system.  Linux is still somewhat short on software
titles but gaining every day.

My current computer at work is an Intel running Windows NT.  Not too bad
if they would cure some of the memory leaks.  Have to reboot every couple
days to reclaim the memory.  What a stupid idea that the os can't get the
memory back when an application leaks a bit.  Really a bunch of
knuckleheads at MS.  Unix was around to copy from,  it was all public back
then, or at least some versions were.  Seems like nobody ever learns.
