Phill,
   You could go with the late model Prestolite distributer instead of
the gold box, but; a better bet would be to put a early model points
with Pertronix in. I used to be a big fan of the prestolite, but; the
points/pertronix is just to foolproof to be ignored. Besides, at $25 per
dist cap and $8 per rotor and $80 for a replacement modual for the
prestolite you save money going with the Pertronix and points.
