Check the bulkhead connectors! They can do just what you describe, by
momentarily cutting off the power to the ignition when you hit a bump or
jolt the vehicle in anyway. Start the puppy up, and get out with the hood
up and shake those connectors and wiring an see if you can duplicate the
problem.

If so, clean up the connections or replace the connectors.
