  I didn't notice anything different about the exterior dimensions between 
the 152 and the 196 when I swapped engines.  The 196 was able to use the 
motor mounts that had been bolted to the 152, and the only difference I 
saw was regarding the rod that the clutch throwout fork mounts to.  There 
was a different bend in the part that attatches to the rest of the clutch 
linkage when compared to the original from the 152,

Is there any differences in the dimensions of a 152 and a 196 engine
block?  Are the supports that hold a 152 smaller than that of a 196 in the
engine compartment?
