RE: Freeze plug size

Unless you get a counterman that is completely brain dead it
should be no problem for them to look up.  The size should be
written in the engine parts catalog or (or computer) right along
with the part numbers.  They should have a listing for the head
freeze plugs and one for the block plugs.

Does anyone know what the exact measurement is for the
freeze plugs on a 67 4-196?  GUS is out and I need to
replace the freeze plugs on the Scout ASAP (leaking).
Hopefully NAPA can provide some if I have the correct
dimension.
