Final question on T-18 vs T-19



So the only differences are the Wide ratio and the non-syncro first gear. 

If I remember correctly, the non-syncro is only a problem if you try to
shift into first without coming to a complete stop. I am assuming here that
second is syncro'd and upshifting isn't a problem. Sounds like the gearing
is still pretty low on the close ratio units so maybe the effort of finding
a wide ratio isn't worth the trouble.

What do you think. I am especially eager to hear from people who have
driven these.
