Toms,
I towed Good home on a flat bead trailor using Ugly and his step
bumper. I was cruising at 60+ with no noticable sway problems. The
scaring things were the bumps when I first started towing her. Once I
got the feel for that, everything was fine. The only thing I didn't like
about the tow was that with Ugly's lift the trailor sat just a 'tad'
tilted. The rear of the trailor was lower than the front. A class 3
hitch and drop ball would have helped.
I fully intend to tow Ugly to Colorado with Good using the same
set-up, (except a class three hitch and not the step bumper) after I
swap the 3.07's from Good and put the 3.54's from my parts rig under
her.
