Ballast resistor with Pertronix?

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I think I remember Darrel Kline
telling us that the Pertronix has to have the ballast resistor. I
bring this up lest in the weekend shuffle, someone who knows for sure
doesn't see the original post.

Also, I am getting the Pertronix today, so that will sort of solve
some of my minor ignition issues.  With the pertronix, I assume you no
longer need the resistive wire or any sort of ballast resistor, is
this true?
