A strange thing happened yesterday.

When Steve Caldwell's pulled up in front of my house yesterday in his newly
acquired fluorescent yellow-green former fire truck IH acquisition, my
darling wife (who generally thinks all IH vehicles are ugly as sin) openly
stated she thought it was cool... or something like that.  So maybe there's
hope for her eventual redemption after all!

Steve did get a great deal on that truck.  It needs a little TLC here and
there, but it's in overall great condition and has one of the biggest
honkin' PTO winches I've seen on a light truck.  The cable must be 1/2"
diameter and has manila rope running though the center.  Backup up by that
392, that winch could probably pull two or three jeeps up into a tree at
one time.  Steve better keep that truck off the trails or he'll find
himself pulling all day winch duty at the top of some steep hill.
