Re: No thermostat



You can't pump the water too fast through the radiator. 
The ratio of time spent in the radiator cooling down and 
time spent in the block heating up is what counts. If it's
in the radiator a short period of time it will also be in the
block a short period of time. The ratio will stay approximately 
the same for all water speeds. The purpose of the thermostat
is to adjust this ratio to maintain a constant temp.
