ignition switch..and key and tumblers

Allan,
Yes you keep the same key and tumblers...the ignition switch goes on the 
lower part of the column. When you turn the key it pushes a long rod 
down to the lower column and works the ignition switch. You will have no 
problem removing the ignition switch. just lower the 4 mounting bolts 
that hold the column to the dash and lower the column down. Two screws 
unbolt the switch and viola...your off. Install in reverse
