No Heat

  I have a similar problem, I can't really get any heat from my
truck, and I think mine might be due to a stuck open
thermostat.  My temp guage rarely even rises off the cold peg.
So last night I cut two pieces of cardboard and put them behind
the grille (I painted them black after fitting so they would not
look so tacky).  I've heard that putting them right against the
radiator was not good because it creates cold/hot spots
on the radiator.  So I fit them to go between the grille and the
hood latch support, leaving about 8" open in the middle.
Now air can come through that opening, and disperse a
bit over the front of the radiator.  I was able to get the temp
to get to the bottom of the horizontal line that runs between the 
C and H on the guage.  And I got some heat.  Not this is at
about 20 degrees, (plenty cold for me) so at those Montana
temps, you migth be able to get away with a smaller opening.
