Mike,

Before you panic... *generally* when the rear seal of the brake master
cylinder starts leaking the fluid does not get sucked into the brake vacuum
booster.  But Dennis said it happened to him, so I guess it's possible.  The
booster is designed in such a way as to make this very unlikely.

Probably all you need do is get one of those lifetime warrantee master
cylinders at your favorite local chain auto parts store and replace it soon.
