RE: Toy Trucks
Since I work with the attorney at Navistar that works with many things
including licensing toys, I can tell you that your local Case-IH dealer
doesn't have the correct information. Navistar is very willing to licensee
toys with Ertl and has had several Ertl toy trucks. I've got several models
on my shelf. They have licensed Mattel, First Gear, Winross, Ertl, Road
Champs, & Spec Cast just to name a few. There are some really nice Mattel
toys out this year. There is a 1/64 camping set out at Target that has a
1970ish Travelall in it . Road Champs have some really nice 4900 fire
trucks. Yesterday I bought a nice 1/34 True Value IHC RF-200 with van 50th
anniversary set. IH trucks are our there.

Subject: Toy trucks!
IH'ers, This may be all wrong but my local C*se-IH dealer says Navistar
has
not or will not license Ertl to make those using IH trucks. I do know they
use the same truck with several different logo schemes. (Jo*n D*ere etc.)
Maybe they just haven't seen the need to make some IH trucks. If you will
notice some of those logos just have the word Harvester under the logo
instead of International Harvester. Case cannot use the word International
except in places where it was originally used. Anybody know that to be
true
or not? Eastwood does have some IH toys, some R series trucks and even a
modern International 4000. Check it out:
