Re: Carter AFB/Edelbrock Performer carbs

Mike,
I have the Carter AFB on Ugly, and while there aren't to many steep
hills and angles here in Jersey, I have been in a few positions where
Thebert's angle meter would hit the retard range. I haven't had any
problems at all with hills and sideways situations. What I have had
problems with is sudden impacts and jaring landings. I don't have the
off-road needla and seats installed which are supposed to fix this
problem, and one of these days I will get them to stop it from occuring,
but; when I do hit a gully really hard and slam the axle into it, or
come over a whoop-de-doo to fast the AFB tends to stall. It will restart
right away, it is just an anoyance.
