 This is how they got built.  

But whether there is one with your Scout 800, I can't say.  Pickups of
that era had a glove box that could swing out of the dash and the lineset
was mounted on the back.  But I'm not sure there was a copy of it
permanently attached to the Scout anywhere.  It came laying in the
glovebox, but those don't seem to last too long.

Super Scout Specialists or GUS can probably get a copy for you.
