Re: Crimson book, pics tops we are disscussin

"International Trucks" by Fred Crismon, published by Motorbooks
International (who else for an IH book?) is a complete pictoral history
from the Autobuggy up to 1995. 608 pages with 1,000,000 +/-3
photos--actually 1400--many of them rare shots he found in the archives
and other places. I've really only found one model missing and he
documented a lot of things like the Wagonmaster being advertised as a
Travelette that you won't find elsewhere. Binder Books has it for
$42.95. I've seen it at Super Scout Specialists and I'm sure other
dealers probably have it too.

ABOUT 1963 WITH A COMPLETE FIBERGLASS TOP THAT HAD A STAND-UP AREA
HANGING OFF THE BACK AND BUNKS THAT FOLDED OUT THE SIDES. THERE WERE
ALSO A FEW SLIDE-IN UNITS BUILT BY DREAMER ABOUT 1965. THEY ALSO BUILT A
SIMILAR UNIT FOR THE BRONCO. I KNOW OF NO SHELLS OR TOPPERS BUILT FOR
THE 800, ALTHOUGH I'M SURE THERE WERE A FEW SOMEWHERE. THERE IS ALSO THE
TOPPER BUILT FOR THE TERRA THAT IH MARKETED FOR A SHORT TIME.
