The real Hi-Lifts are made by Bloomfield Manufacturing Company, not far from
you in Bloomfield, IN.  There was a discussion about this on the Binder
Bulletin Tech Talk a while back.  One of the guys in our 4wd club works for
Bloomfield Manufacturing Company.  I posted several pieces of info from him on
Tech Talk from 8/24-8/26.  I tried to cut and paste that stuff to this
message, but couldn't for some reason.  If you search the Tech Talk archives
for post by me or for Hi-Lift, you should be able to find them.  From what he
told me, the cast versions are better for strength and lubrication reasons.
