Body Swap Questions
Knowledgeable Ones-
I asked this last week and either you guys didn't get it or noone
answered, but I'll try again with a new question thrown on the end.
If I want to take the 345 out of my RUSTYYYY '73 Scout II, and put it in
a '70 Scout 800 (Originally w/304) are there any hidden problems I
should know about?
Is it any easier to transfer it into another Scout II? What about the
fact that I like the old style body better-is it easier enough to settle
for Scout II over my preferred choice of Scout 800?
Also, what is included if I were to buy a fiberglass "tub"? What all do
I need to ask for to get a complete body replacement? I need everything
from the floor up to the top, but I can find the top easily-it's the
body I need. So what all do I need to ask for, and what kind of prices
are we talking about for a full fiberglass replacement? I am going to
do something with my now smoking 345, but the body it is in is literally
going to fall apart going down the road if I don't do something soon.
Howard? Do you make whole fiberglass bodies, and if so, where can I get
prices?
