No bashing and lots of other stuff

Bill,
Easy old buddy, I didn't hear, see, or read any FAQ bashing in any of the
posts. Two of us said that we were surprised that the Ford conversion
wasn't in the FAQ, because we thought we remembered it being there. Only
surprise at our not remembering correctly, not criticism.

No bash!

Glad you added Darrel's very well done how-to to the FAQ. Thank you for
doing that. Now when we send people there because we think the
instructions are there, we'll be remembering correctly.

Speaking of remembering correctly, my son came by from a camping trip and
stayed to look at the Surprise Canyon pics in the magazine and read the
thread from the Binder Bulletin pages. He told me when I asked him about
it that he had never told me that seals on an International engine were a
problem. He said maybe that he had told me that the right way to do it,
in his opinion, was to have the machining done to the top of the valve
guide bosses and use what he thinks are called Perfect Seals. Says that's
the way he'd do a rebuild because those seals, at the very least look
good.(grin)

Obviously, somebody else was mean mouthing the seals and I had
transferred it to John Jr. Not so. Personally, I have trouble accepting
Jim's belief that all the lubrication you need is in the fuel, but
..........

Glad your seals are working well, and glad also you challenged my
statement, albeit politely.

John H.
