Well,

Imron is supposed to the most chip resistant paint of all.  Usually used 
on large trucks and aircraft.  But if it wasn't done exactly right it 
might be fragile.  Paint that chips easily, for me, has usually been I 
wasn't careful enough with surface prep and cleanliness.

From now on I'm using laquer.  Much easier to handle, buffs out if you 
don't have a sparay booth, easier to repair.  But, not nearly as tough as 
Imron.
