umm, no. html screws up a lot of mail readers. not using html corresponds
to being kind to users of non-html mail readers, of which there are many.

i'm kind of an internet traditionalist in this respect, but email has
generally been a simple, plain text media for very good reasons. html email
is something that has been inflicted on us very recently by big browser
outfits adding email to their products and then trying to outfeature each
other. there has never been, so far as i know, even a draft standard for
html email (other than a mime type), and little chance of one.
