UpshiftDoubleClutch?

TomM and Others,
I see the topic of double clutching has arrived.  I double clutch 
when down shifting, mostly from habit ... my Jap car gearbox synchros 
are getting tired and I have found double clutching seems to ease the 
pain when UPshifting as well.  Does double clutching on the upshift 
make any sense are am I suffering from ... ummm, ummm, now what
the heck is that condition where we experience what we want to, 
unencumbered by reality ... oh yes, dreaming.  mark
