Jeffrey / Allan / Steve, et al:

We've had a bit of a voluntary directory going since about August. (+/- 120
entries at this time.) It's more focused on the PEOPLE than the TRUCKS,
though there's certainly room to brag about your rig(s) in the profile that
you get to create.

It's set up so that folks can create a profile for themselves right from
their web browser -- no one has to "make pages" from e-mailed entries.

This directory is at http://www.binderbulletin.com/database/usrlink.html

I'd be happy to put heads together with Allan & see if we can't join our
efforts rather than duplicate one anothers' work.

Additionally, there's another fellow -- Rick Halle -- who's got something
going called the "Worldwide IHC Scout Register" at
http://www.websiteconcepts.com/scouts/ . It's more focused on the TRUCKS
than the PEOPLE, and it is also pretty "Scout-specific" (not including
Pickup, Travelall, Ag Equipment, etc.)

Ideally I'd like to code an honest-to-gosh relational database -- one that
consists of both "people records" and "vehicle records" -- with many-to-one
links & multiple views (e.g., a list of "all Travelall-owners in Kentucky",
etc.). I'm still working on the skills necessary for this kind of project.
It's not too far out, however.
