Comanche was a name IH applied to the 4 Cylinder engine for a number of
years--nothing special about it.

Comanche was also the name of a limited production model Scout 800 in
1970 like the Aristocrat.  This was a white Scout with a butterscotch
yellow top and hood, chrome wheels, an Indian-motif decal on the lower
part of the body, and probably a special interior.  I think there were
about 1000 of these.  See page 421 of Crismon's book for a b&w photo of
one.
