I'd like to know what the pricing is, too Allan.
I read the article on Durabak.. seems you just clean up the area (paint
is OK, but it must be cleaned with mineral spirits first) and then use a
paint roller / brush to put this stuff on. I seem to recall it being
partially made of old tires.
I think the stuff would be very similar to Line-X when done (Rick Wild's
Scout has Line-X and it looked great)
I'm leaning towards Durabak vs. the $500 or so to have my Scout sprayed
with Rhino Liner.
A question for everyone: How would one get this stuff (Rhino, Lava,
Line-X, Durabak, etc) *OFF*? Assuming, in about 15 years or 25 years, my
Scout starts to rust from the bottom up, how would I get this adhesive
bedline material off of the remaining floor pan to weld in new sheet
metal? Think it would sand-blast off easily??
