Serviice Manuals and Part Manuals

I understand how a Service Manual is Important, I just ordered one
a few days ago for my 1974 Scout II it set me back $78.95    BUT is it
worth $32.50 for a parts catalog for a scout what good are they?  I'm
sorry if this is a stupid question but I have never had a parts catalog
and I am unsure if I should.

	Well,  any pros and cons on the subject???
