Take a look at the December/97 issue of 4Wheel & Off-road, with a burning
Samurai on the cover (I almost mistook it for a '72 Chevy..)
On page 135 starts the coverage of "Running with the Canadian Island Rock
Crawlers" (Vancouver)
On page 136 (rt side) on the right edge is Larry Soo's white Wrangler,
but you can't see the sticker (upper pass side of the front windshield)
Larry is no where to be seen..
Page 137, on the left side, is an '80 CJ5 owned by Ed Mah going into
some deep water. On the upper passenger side of the front windshield is
the round Off-road Mailing list sticker.
The ORD has well over 1000 subscribers (many of which are present on the
IHC list, as well as Landcruiser, Jeep, 'Zuki, Toy, etc. lists)
Someone had a logo, someone knew where to get stickers made, they all
agreed on a style, took down some orders, and had a batch made up.
We might get even simpler, and base our logo on either the "Man on
Tractor" or the classic "IH" inter-woven together (Scott S., what kind of
legal trouble would we be asking for? What do we need to do to get
permission to use the IH logos for an IHC Fan club?) and even
"IHC-Digest" wrapped around the side or something...
*shrug*
