Hey, something I can answer. Just did the auto to manual swap on my 325
this summer, so I am somewhat familiar. The hardest part taking out the
auto was the top bolt on the tranny. That probably won't be as hard on the
manual since it is smaller. You do have a two to three foot extension and
the right sockets? The hardest part about putting the manual tranny in was
the top water pump bolt. I think it would have been easier if we hadn't
bolted the tranny in place first. We used a floor jack to support the
tranny both for removal and install. It's not that heavy. 50 lbs., maybe?
Might as well take it all the way out and replace the fluid. I went with
synthetic. Didn't do the seals, can't help there. Let me know if you have
