E36: Window regulators

Anyone ever have problem with their window going up and sticking at various
point then finally GRINDING (krrr) when it gets to the end like it doesn't
know where to stop?  I lubed all the regulator joints and adjusted the
window but no change.

Any idea what's wrong?
