Customer Exhaust: Ravin

Hello list members,

For what it's worth....  I decided to get a custom exhaust fabricated and
installed on my e36. After looking around at price / quality, I decided to go
with a Ravin stainless steel system with 3" piping from the cats. Total cost
was $650 CDN installed. Quality is amazing, sound is excellent and top end HP
has increased a bit.

With the factory exhaust system out of the car, I could not help but notice a
valve on the muffler system that seemed to be attached with a vacuum hose?! I
simply cannot comprehend the reason why BMW would put this valve on their
mufflers. Any ideas??  Anyways, Ravin SS exhaust systems - highly recommended.
