Yep, the antenna gasket is most likely the culprit. The thing cost very
little(even for a BMW part) and you simply unbolt the antenna and install
the new one from underneath(inside the trunk). Takes longer to pull the
liner out and unbolt the antenna than to actually replace the
gasket(grommet, actually).
