I have an 1987 535is and the original muffler is finally going. I'm amazed that it has lasted this long. An OEM muffler from the local dealership is real pricey, about $550. Is there someplace I can get a original replacement cheaper? If not, any suggestions for an after market product? I'd like to find something as close to the original as possible.
