tire warpage

My car has developed an out of balance sound on the front left side. I went
into NTB and showed them and their response was "When did you rotate them?"
I thought a first that was a crazy question, but not to them. They just
acted like sure they warped! I checked my records and I did rotate them at
about 15,000, they now have 30,000. The NTB guy said they should be rotated
every 7,000.

My question:
Is this correct and should tires warp if they are not rotated.....I don't
mean uneven tire wear.
What about cars that do not rotate tires i.e. 911 Porsche different sizes
and one direction tread?

What do you suggest I do?

I'd like a pro-rate on two tires! I don't want one new tire!
